Hey,
Deadnburied was wondering if he could register to get on these forums.  Apparently the option to register has been disabled.

So who wants to meet up in Vegas for an AD2 reunion!!?!?!?!?!? Drinks are on Tubarolean, of course....

Saw a few spam posts last week that I had to clean up so I temporarily disabled registration.  I've re-enabled it and he should be able to register now.  I'd suggest not mentioning cialis in his first post though

Is there a way to set it so the/an admin has to approve registrations?  Rather than automated?

Who knows who's still lurking around out there?

Yeah, but the only way to realize that there's a registration pending approval is to log in as an admin... there's an option for emailing an activation link, but that seems like it'd be easy to overcome.  The last 6 registrations seem kind of shadey too - might have to delete 'em! o.O

Thanks for opening registration for me Gon!  Seal it back up now please.

It was SUCH a trip down memory lane to read all of the posts here.  I enjoyed catching up.  Each of the names here seemed to trigger a memory of a camping session, a raid, or grinding in my head.  And yeah, I miss the good ole days and hanging out with you all.

Adding IPs to the registration ban list seems to have helped a little... but I think leaving registration closed (except for maybe Sundays) is probably the only way to go.  Wonder how they managed to find these forums after so long

I wanna say I saw an update and also a chmod setting to change regarding spammers on the smf site. I'll try to find where I read it, it might be an all around smf update.
